About connect...
Poynton Connect Football Club was formed for local young men, above Asda on Park Lane in Poynton in January 2014, with the support of Connect in the Community and Chris Norbury and her team.
The club now enter a number of teams into 5-a-side leagues and tournaments at Power League Stockport as well as having an 11-a-side team who play in the South Manchester and Cheshire Christian League.

Big smiles on the motorway as the team drives home from Chester this morning after a great team performance sees Connect through in the Christian cup. Goals from Lew, 2 from Otto and a wonder goal from Dom seals a 4-2 win against Northgate Church. The work the coaches are putting in is paying off and the new passing game bearing fruit. Connect have now won 4 of the last 5 games.
